Our goal is to get your website built within 2 weeks. There are variables that could affect that timeline such as demand and our communication. We will notify you if we expect it to take longer than 2 weeks.

On the flip site, if the website is stalled due to no response from the client, the project will be canceled and will need to be restarted. We understand that things come up and life and can pause a project if that is the case. But if after 3 months of no response from the client and several attempts to reach out, we will need to start over with a new package.

You will receive an intake form that will walk you through how to submit your content (text and images for your site). We manage our projects in Google Drive and we will keep everything related to your project there.
You can add on pages for $250/page or you can add pages later yourself. We will provide video instructions on how to add pages.
Yes! We can add a section and connect to your email service of choice (examples: MailChimp, Constant Contact, Get Response, etc). This service must be able to connect using our tools.
Yes, for $150 we can add a lead magnet section and pop-up to your site. You will need to provide the downloadable document as a compressed PDF. We do not write or design lead magnets but can connect you to someone who can take care of that for you!

We assume hosting for all of the sites that we build. As a part of that, we offer basic website care and hosting at a monthly investment of $75/month. This covers the cost of us going into your site each week to make infrastructure updates that protect your site from malware and downtime. We also keep a secure copy of your site in the event that you need emergency site restoration.

Short answer is no – BUT…if you decided to host elsewhere, there are extra costs. We hold premium licenses to the tools used to build and maintain your website. These are complementary to those sites hosted on our server. If you decide to move your site after it is built, you will need to purchase your own plugin licenses to replace ours. In addition, there is a migration fee. We are happy to advise on the pros and cons of our hosting versus the cheap options.

Our Website Care and Hosting plans are comprehensive and include much more than a basic GoDaddy or BlueHost cheap option. We use the best host available for WordPress sites for security, speed, and reliability.

The monthly investment for this service is $75/mo.

We are in your site every week making updates to all of your site’s plugins, theme and WordPress Core files. Sites that are not updated are most  vulnerable to hackers so we are on a weekly schedule to add additional safeguards. We also keep an off-server back up of your site so should it ever go down, we have a secured back up to get your website back up quickly.

Your site is being monitored for uptime 24/7. If it ever goes down, we are the first to know and work quickly to get it back up.

Your site is built using the premium theme and plugins owned by SWD and these are available to you while we are hosting and caring for your site.

No. The template is just a starting point for the layout. Although, users do expect a website to flow in a certain manner and I feel it’s important to keep that familiarity within each site – considering the attention span of the person scrolling your site and how little time you have to convince. But as far as the design goes, your site will be your own. With your logo, colors, images, fonts and overall brand vibe.

It sure does! It’s best to launch with 3 blogs and having those written beforehand is ideal but these can also be added later. We can also refer you to a great blog writer if you prefer an experienced content writer to handle that.

There is a cost associated with purchasing your domain (url) name from a company like GoDaddy (depends on your desired domain but usually around $9. Premium domains can cost much more). And there is the costs associated with your monthly website’s care and hosting each month ($75/month). If you have a special feature or plugin that you want to use that SWD doesn’t already hold a license for, there could be an additional investment for that.

And there are add-on services such as SEO, content writing or extra pages which are listed on the site.

We can license basic subscription images from Adobe Stock. You provide us with the image numbers and we can license and add the images. We prefer you do this since you know best which images you like.

We keep things simple around here and steer clear of ecommerce sites. Especially since Shopify makes it so easy for most small businesses to get a shop up and running. BUT there are also special circumstances that we would consider.
We have designed and developed our website layouts to flow in a way that makes sense to the browser. While we can’t combine templates – we can adjust and even add a section if you feel it is needed.

We do have a selection of done-for-you-domains and logos for brand new businesses, but we do not purchase domains on your behalf. We recommend you purchase your domain through GoDaddy or Google Domains. Your business’s domain is a valuable asset that should remain under your control.

We do not handle any kind of email service and recommend GSuite or Google Workplace for Businesses.
